The FMB Super Mud Open Tubular Cyclocross Tyre has been developed specifically for extremely muddy conditions to deliver exceptional speed and grip.

The Super Mud features widely spaced 3mm Z-shaped knobs that are particularly capable of shedding mud quickly and providing traction on super muddy tracks. The tread is mounted on a supple natural cotton casing and includes the FMB Grip+ compound for fast performance and reliable puncture protection.

FMB tubulars are meticulously handcrafted in a small workshop in Brittany, France. Unlike ‘flat-glued’ tubulars, where the tread is glued directly to the casing, FMB uses a method where the tread adheres to an inflated casing. This approach reduces energy loss during deformation as the tire rolls, resulting in a faster and more supple ride.

While this tire is also available in a tubular, the FMB Super Mud Open Tubular Cyclocross Tire is a clincher tire that is NOT tubeless compatible. We recommend using latex tubes with this tire for optimal performance and superior ride quality.

Note that each one of these tires is hand-crafted and while they are all new, their cosmetic appearance may vary.
